Building natural, non-toxic, mold-free, fireproof, flood proof, pest and rodent proof, bulletproof, seismic resistant, EMF resistant, acoustic and moisture balancing homes, walls and landscape features.

We follow the Toms Shoes 1:1 philosophy. You buy a home, we build a home for those in need affected by natural disasters, low income or CIRS patients.

Our morals are rooted in the belief that construction should not be the industry leader in CO2 emissions, 26-39%.

We do not subscribe to swift construction practices; rather, we view our work as an art form, built to stand the test of time.

Hi, I’m MERCEDES

While serving 10 years in the military as a Builder in the Navy, I had the opportunity to build all over the world. From the Pacific where I needed to build structures to withstand typhoons, to Europe where I was inspired by Duomos that took 500 years to complete and still stand magnificently to this day.

In 2022 I made the transition to civilian life where I began my journey on natural building methods. Cob, Strawbale, Adobe, and Sandbags are all beautiful expressions, but nothing compared to the strength, durability and holistic health of Rammed Earth.

This method of construction in todays changing climate is no longer a want but a need. I decided to dedicate myself to mastering this craft. I have honed my skills and uncovered the best practices needed to construct homes that are not only exceptionally strong but also highly sustainable and holistically healthy.

My ultimate goal is to make sure that every construction project I undertake is executed with the utmost quality, precision, with a deep commitment to sustainability.

My goal for Ciel Construct is to follow the Toms 1:1 model. For every home we build, we build a home for someone in need.

Hi, I’m GILLIAN

I have over 14 years of experience in the construction industry, focusing on remodels and general contracting. Since 2022, I have pivoted interest to SIREWALL, a leading technology in structural insulated rammed earth construction. Dedicated to sustainability, I have been working towards implementing more environmental building techniques that offer durability beyond standard methods. My mission is to make high-end eco-friendly construction accessible and affordable for everyone.

Several years ago, I moved into an extremely moldy building and after only 6 months, my health was quite compromised. It took about 2 years to figure out my health issues were caused by my home. As soon as I was diagnosed with CIRS a mold-related illness, I moved into a clean space and became obsessed with healthy living environments.

Rammed Earth is the obvious solution to the toxic building crisis as a natural, inorganic, mold-free building method. Our world is saturated with low-quality. illness-inducing housing.

It doesn't have to be this way.

I’ve been in the military 6 years as a Builder in the Navy, where I met Mercedes in Italy. I specialize in Construction Planning and Estimating.

I have a love for hiking, camping, fishing, hunting and lure making. Its my desire cultivate sustainable building and natural resources of our environment, to protect and preserve those very things I love.

I utilize my expertise to ensure that every project is executed with precision and consideration for our environment. My passion for sustainability and natural resources guided me in making a meaningful impact, not only within the military, but also in preserving our planet for future generations.
